Casey Marie Smith is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist who graduated from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine on the dean's list with a Master's of Oriental Medicine. She immediately became a part of the faculty for Emperor's College, employed as an Externship Substitute Supervisor for CRI-Help (a drug recovery program) and has been an Assistant Supervisor in Emperor's College Clinic for nearly 2 years. Currently, she is teaching the pre-clinical course that prepares Emperor's students for Internship in the college clinic.
Casey has been involved in many clinical settings such as Danial Freeman Hospital; drug recovery program, Psychiatric ward and post-surgery physical recovery department. Presently she has been performing acupuncture and craniosacral sessions at The Canyon (a private drug recovery program).
Casey has studied Craniosacral Therapy intensively with gary Strauss at the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing and Polarity Healing arts. Her background includes being an independently contracted teacher of a woman's Wellness Exam' to second year Doctors, Physician Assistants, Nurse-Midwives and Chiropractor students for UCLA, USC and LA Chiropractic University.
Casey has been a Doula for 6 years, supporting and educating women and families through preconception, pregnancy, labor and postpartum. In 2002, Casey became a new mom to a beautiful boy who continues to enrich her personal life and her healing practice.
It is Casey's intention to create an environment that would provide the highest outcome for the client, practitioner and all relations involved.
